MARINA BAY


Marina Bay is set to be a 24/7 destination with endless opportunities for people to “explore new living and lifestyle options, exchange new ideas and information for business, and be entertained by rich leisure and cultural experiences”.


It includes a new eco-friendly visitor centre and The Helix linking Bayfront to Marina Centre where the Youth Olympic Park is located,Esplanade - Theatreson the Bay, SUntec CIty

 The Helix Bridge , previously known as the Double Helix Bridge , is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area in Singapore


Pairs of coloured letters c and g, as well as a and t on the bridge which are lit up at night in red and green represent cytosine, guanine, adenine and thymine, the four bases of DNA.

The Helix is fabricated from approximately 650 tonnes of Duplex Stainless Steel and 1000 tonnes of carbon steel used in the temporary structure and also helping the bridge to get the helix shape
it is a world first in architectural and engineering bridge design.


The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel located in Singapore, constructed in 2005–2008. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it reaches 42 stories high, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft), making it the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, 5 m (16 ft) taller than the Star of Nanchang and 30 m (98 ft) taller than the London Eye.

Another landmark is the Marina Bay Sands. It is an integrated resort hotel with the world's largest atrium  casino, The SHoppes at the Marina Bay SAnds mall, an iconic flower shape ARt science Museum, two large theaters, seven "celebrity chef" restaurants, two floating Crystal Pavilions, ice skating rink.

The three hotel towers is topped by the Skyparkwith a capacity of 3.900 people and a 150m infinity swimming pool.A 13 minute light , laser and water spectacle  called Wonder full is really awesome.
