TWO HOURS IN VATICAN MUSEUM

Believe me two hours inside the Vatican Museum is not enough. You have to allot at least half a day or better yet a one  whole day to see all of masterpieces....If that's so  then why did I spent only two hours? It was part of my “Vatican by Train: Vatican Full Day Tour” ticket.

ROME IN A DAY

What’s your favorite city? Mine is Rome. I love its centuries old ruins that are beautifully preserved. I love walking on its cobblestoned streets. I love window shopping in its world renown fashionable Via Condotti.  And  of course, I so love the food.

Casa per Ferie Madre Nazarena Roma :Where to Stay in Rome

Disclaimer:  This is not a sponsored post. I personally paid for my stay.

I came to know Casa Per Ferie Madre Nazarena through my  friend who is a  nun. She belongs to the Figlie Del Divino Zelo congregation who owns and operates the said establishment.  I was supposed to visit her only but I decided to stay over because there were no more trains available going to Milan. From that day on I always stay in Casa per Ferie whenever I am in Rome.  I longed its tranquilness. I just love staying here. It’s my home away from home.

Schengen Visa: One Pass For 26 Countries

5  European countries came together on the 14th day of June in 1985  to form  and conceptualize “ The Schengen Agreement” . Spearheaded by Germany, France, Luxemburg , Belgium and Netherlands,  all member states of this newly form state union will  have  free trade access and a uniform visa. It means that if a person has a valid visa in one of the member states he/she can freely move around the Schengen area without securing additional  visa from each of the other member countries. It works similar to that of the United States of America.  Schengen, for those who don’t know yet, is a small town in Luxemburg and not some kind of jumbled words.

In my previous post about travelling with a third world passport (click here for the link) I wrote that there are countries that Filipinos can  visit without a visa or get a visa upon arrival.

My recent trip to the South America was a once in a lifetime experience. It was also at this time wherein I realized that indeed travelling with a passport from a third world country has its own perks.
