ISTANA NEGARA - KUALA LUMPUR

The Istana Negara (Malay for National Palace) was the official residence of the King of Malaysia

According to history, the palace was originally a double storey mansion which called The Big House by a local Chinese millionaire , it was built in 1928.

At the main entrance are two guard posts for the two cavalry men in their full dress. I was fortunate to watch their changing of guards ceremony..(sorry can't upload the video :( ..

The palace is not open to public but there's an area outside where tourist can have photo ops .
