GOING AROUND BANGKOK

Bangkok's streets are very known for traffic  any time of the day or night. However, they have modern public transport systems making it  easier to navigate your way around.

For tourist the use of  Skytrain (BTS) and underground (MRT) rail systems makes it easier for them to go from one point to another as it  connect the main shopping, entertainment and business areas of the city. There are also the  Taxis that are in every corner at almost any time.
Another popular transport are the   river taxis and express boats. This are good choice for exploring the city's  historic sites and attractions at the riverside of Chao Phraya River. The long tail boats can be hired for private tours
Not to forget are the Tuk-tuks. Though its more expensive than the other transports it is still  popular among tourists and visitors, for experience maybe. Fares vary, depending on the distance travelled, the time of the day, the traffic, and the drivers. You should have a good negotiating skills to haggle the price. Normally a very short trip will cost 30 baht.
