BUDDHA TOOTH RELIC TEMPLE AND MUSEUM

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum is a living cultural monument in the heart of Chinatown featuring exhibitions relating to various facets of religious arts and culture of Singapore. It also houses what Buddhist leaders regard as the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic in a stupa composed of 320kg of gold donated by devotees.
Its grand design is based on the elements and history of Tang Dynasty and the Buddhist Mandala, the latter which is a representation of the Buddhist universe. So expect to find lots of references to both aspects, such as bone and tongue relic elements. The temple prides itself on the research made to ensure accuracy and authenticity on the design and monuments found here. Other highlights found in this building include the Buddhist Culture Museum
The first floor.visitor can enter on   mountain gate or bell and dragons towers .

on the Mezzanine Floor, is the compassionate Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara sitting in the middle of the Dharma Hall.

It is also on this floor where they offer flowers, lamps, gold coins, fruits ...

2nd ...An Exhibition Hall is located on this floor featuring calligraphy, paintings and sculptures.

Also situated on this floor is the Depository of Buddhist Texts. This is where the Maha-pranjna-paramita Sutra is housed.. We were not able to take photos at this floor it was dark and it feels like eiri.. :)

3rd.. An impressive collection of Buddhist artefacts is displayed on the third level of the temple.

I was amazed or rather i didn't expect to find a  "high tech " comfort room inside the museum, the lights automatically  turns on when someone enters and turns off when no oneis inside. And oh, the toilet flashes too on its own.
4th flr. Sacred Light Hall - Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic Chamber
. You will enter the serene and quiet chamber, where many devotees prostrate themselves to venerate the Sacred Buddha Tooth.
picture taking at this floor is not allowed.
As you climb up onto the roof from one of the four corner staircases, you will come upon one of the smaller pagodas, which houses one of the Four Buddhas of the Cardinal Points. When you look towards the center of the roof level, you will see a large, tall Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda housing the large Vairocana Buddha Prayer Wheel, in the center.

You will also notice the other pagodas with their respective Buddhas of the Cardinal Points. The open space in between is filled with numerous Dendrobium Buddha Tooth orchid plants and other orchid plants named after eminent sangha.
